We're about to hit 1000 Facebook Fans, and to celebrate we are holding a PHOTO CONTEST and giving away CD's! CLICK FOR ALL THE DETAILS

 We are preparing to travel across North America:  First we fly to Thunder Bay in the great white north for a show with the Sleeping Giant Folk Society on March 6th.    Then its off to Florida for the annual St. Patrick's Festival put on by the city of Ocala.    

On Sunday, 6 December, Poor Angus' second album " Prime Cuts "  won the Arcelor-Mittal Hamilton Music Award for Folk/Traditional Album of the Year for 2009.  Poor Angus would like to thank the selection committee, our fellow nominees and all our fans.
